No live view on the new Nikon D500
Re: No live view on the new Nikon D500
Has a release date been set for v3.5.2 that supports the Nikon D500?
Re: No live view on the new Nikon D500
First of all thanks for the 3.5.2 release. I can use it happily over a 3040 router with iOS9.3 and my Nikon D810. But with the same iPad and the same 3040 I cannot connect to a D500.
When I long press the Wireless button in qDslrDashboard, I see the normal IP address/port dialog but cannot connect to the D500.
Note: I have activated the AirPlane Mode (so as to deactivate the Wireless connection that doesn't seem to work anyway).
Do I need any special settings on the D500 or an update to the firmware on the 3040?
Thanks
Jeremy

Re: No live view on the new Nikon D500
I do believe that my problem with v352 and the D500 is related to the 3040.
I have 4 cameras (6D,D800,D810 and D500) I have two TPLink 3040 V2's and a HAMA device.
All three routers work with the 6D,D800 and D810
The HAMA and one of the TP-Links work with the D500
The 2nd TP-Link fails to connect with the D500. So it is just this one combination that fails.
I'll go and check that the config on the two TP-Links are identical and report back (in case anyone else has this problem(
