Hello - I have installed qdslrdashboard for the first time on a Macbook Pro running El Capitan (tried on a Mac running Yosemite as well). I am unable to connect via usb or using the tplink MR3040 to a Nikon D5100. Any suggestions? I am connecting the Nikon D5100 with USB, turning the camera on and then pressing the USB connect button in qdslrdashboard. And nothing happens after the press. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Please check this topic regarding USB on El Capitan: http://dslrdashboard.info/phpBB3/viewto ... ?f=5&t=643

Is your Mac connected only to the MR3040 or to other network to?
There could be an IP conflict. The MR3040 has the 192.168.1.1 IP address by default as most of home routers.

Hello

is there anybody here in the forum who has successfully connected an Nikon camera to the Mac, using USB? Any ideas are welcome. The linked notice from hubaiz won´t work. (Mac Pro 10.11.5)

Thank you very much
