Windows 10 + D750 + Wifi Issues

I have Windows 10 on my PC, with my Nikon D750. I installed dslrdashboard, used the wi-fi icon in the notification tray to connect to my D750's wifi - windows says the status that it is connected, but no internet connection (obviously).

In dslrdashboard, I've clicked the Nikon wifi icon, as well as the network icon, and absolutely nothing happens. The D750 itself still says "awaiting connection", presumably because the application is not attempting to establish a connections. IP Config says I'm connected to 192.168.1.1 just fine, and I've had no problems connecting my iOS tablet (I made sure the application was closed prior to attempting to connect on PC). I can't seem to find a log file or anything to look for - I even tried running as Administrator, but same behavior.

Any ideas? I know I could use USB, but I'd like to have my files, even if slow, auto download to a folder on my laptop as I shoot to verify focus.

Thanks!

Is your PC only connected to the D750 wireless? If it is connected with wired network there could be a conflict. By default the D750 has the 192.168.1.1 IP address as most of the home routers.

Thre procedure is:
- enable wireless on D750
- connect/pair your PC wireless with the D750 wireless
- start qDslrDashboard and press the 'Nikon 'wireless' button. It should connect. You can also try and long press the 'Nikon wireless' button and enter the IP address of the D750 (by default 192.168.1.1) and press the OK button.

The 'Network' button is used when you are conneting with the 'ddserver' (like the MR3040 router).
