Floating Average and Reference on iPAD not working

Hi,

I have qdslr v 3.5.1 for iPAD mini and iPhone. On the iPAD Floating Average and Reference wont work. They only show 0. I tried the iPhone, it gives both values around 40 and 50. The buttons are of a good size, but the screen is cluttered with icons and hard to see anything from the picture on it.

The iPAD mini has a good size, but the buttons are much smaller than on the iPhone. Also, especially the USB needs a harder and longer press for some reason to connect.

Any idea how i could get Floating Average and Reference on the iPAD mini working ?

Cheers Horst :( :( :(

You can resize the UI with the 'UI scale factor' in qDslrDashboard settings dialog.

What DSLR do you use?
You first need to make a sample capture so that qDD can calculate the reference value.

Hi,

thanks for the reply. I have a Canon EOS 5DIII. Strangely on the iPhone I get some values, on the iPAD not. I am not sure if the values on the iPhone good enough. Will try it out.

Sorry did not see that I can change the UI.

Regards, Horst

Hi Zoltan,

I had a short play with the equipment this morning while the day was rising up. Canon EOS 5Diii, TP MR 3040, qdslr 3.5.1.
iPAD mini : can capture sample, picture is on display, no floating average and reference
iPhone 6s : capture sample, shows floating average and reference

To me it seams the iPAD mini is the culprit.

Cheers Horst
