Is the Canon 80d supported?

I am very excited to use qdslrdashboard with lrtimelapse for ramping intervalometer settings but I can't get it to connect. I know it works with the 6d and 70d to connect directly to the camera's wifi, but has anyone successfully used it with the 80d?

I got the phone paired to the camera and I open the app, then the camera shows that qdslrdashboard is connected but in the app nothing happens when I press the Canon wireless button.

Any ideas to help would be so greatly appreciated, I was so excited to use this and it's the most I've ever spent on an app so I really hope I'm missing something simple and someone here can help.

Thank you!

Trying to get this to work with the 80d also, nothing. Connect to the camera with iPad using wifi in settings and Canon remote app works fine, but when I open DSLRDashboard and hit the Canon wifi button nothing happens... I thought since the 70d worked this one would too, i don't think they're that different in makeup... Please post here if you manage to solve this & how.. I'll do same..

Still no luck with the 80d unfortunately. Is the app normally updated after significant new models have been out for a while? I am very very eager to use it along with LRT.

You have to wait for app update. Every camera model has to be supported by the app.

Hey there,

any news on this topic? Bought the iOS app yesterday, not knowing that it won't connect to my 80D. Am a bit disappointed now. Is there any update in sight?
