Nikon D3200 Setup

Greetings everyone, I own a Nikon D3200 and would like to use the qdsldashboard app to help me control the camera.
What is the best setup for portable use. A tablet? A phone? What? I have the USB cable that came with the camera already.
Which device has shown to work best with connecting to the D3200?
