TP 3040 Issue

Hi,

I have a TP - MR 3040 here that someone set up for DSLR Controller.
I got it from him to use with qDSLR Dashboard on my iphone using the Router and Canon 5dmk2 and or 3.

I am unable to connect wirelessly to with with my iphone 6splus (under wifi I can connect - but the app doesnt see the camera)
Note: on my android devise I can use both apps but only when connect via USB - no wifi.
I think this is because the router was set up to use DSLR Controller NOT Dashboard.

So my question is, how can I either
A: Reset the router to factory and upgrade to Dashboard Firmware?
or
B: Remove the DSLRController firmware and update it with qDSLRDashboard firmware?

I tried to update firmware via Backup/Flash Firmware tools the browser but I keep getting this error "The uploaded image does not contain a supported format..."
I am selecting the ipk file from the ddserver package update folder. I tried renaming the extention to .bin and it didnt work.
I also have read that you need to strip headers or something. Do you have a link to the correct update?

Please help thanks.
I need to get this working asap.

You must update the TP-Link MR3040 firmware with the OpenWrt firmware that includes the ddserver package.
You can download the firmware from: http://dslrdashboard.info/downloads/
Upgrade instructions is here: http://dslrdashboard.info/tp-link-mr304 ... e-upgrade/
