Can't install app via Play or APK

I am trying to install on my ECS RealPad MA7BX2 (the AARP-branded cheapie) running Android 4.4.2. No updates available.

In the Google Play store, it says "Your device isn't compatible with this version."

Any idea why not?

I tried to download via APK link too, after I checked "allow installations of apps from unknown sources." My 5-year old Galaxy S4 is compatible, but I would like a larger screen to view the live video from the camera, for doing self-recording.

I have a Nikon d3300, and even though I've read in the forums here that qDSLR is not fully functional with that camera, I would like to see what does work for myself.

Any advice would be extremely appreciated.

And have you downloaded a correct version of qDD ??
Your tablet has a x86 CPU, not ARM like SGS4.
