qdslrdashboard startup problem with Asus EEE PC 1000 Win 7

Hello,

I installed Qdslrdashboard on my Assus EEE pc 1000HE win 7(x86).
First, the program crashed to desktop.
Then I changed the color depth from 32 bit to 16 bit, and now the program loads, but only shows a light blue screen without any menus (only the window menu on left upper corner) or button.
Could this be due to the screen resolution of 1024x600 ?
