iPad (OS9.3.5) no connection

Hi Zoltan,
I purchased a copy of DSLR Dashboard for my iPad (OS9.3.5) and neither my Nikon (D3300) or my Canon (EOS550D) will actually work with it, they dont seem to connect - I have DSLR Dashboard on my Galaxy TAB 2 and both camera's work AOK on this device.
I can connect both camera's direct to the iPad and can download images, so its not the camera, connections or iPad.
