connection to another wifi

Hi all!
I am trying to figure out if I can use a Nikon D3 with a wireless connection to a Windows-10-laptop. That laptop has to access the companies' wifi at the same time, so I am wondering if the TL MR3040 always creates ist own wifi or if it is possible to join an existing one. I'd really appreciate some help...
