deserver with Raspberry Pi Wifi

Hello,
i want to use my Raspberry Pi 3 instead of a TP-Link router. I have installed the ddserver package but it only works with a lan connection and not with the built-in wifi.
I also tried to enter the IP-Adress manually, but it doesn´t work.
I hope you can help me
