I bought the software yesterday and made a few tests with my Sony a7s. For now, I am a little underwhelmed by qdslr dashboard, but this can be my fault.

This is what I dislike: When doing a timelapse, qdslr dashboard ignores some important camera settings: The aspect ratio ans silent shooting. Dashboard producec imaged with an aspect ratio of 3:2, which I cannot use because I am a filmmaker, and 3:2 is no film format at all.

Is there any way to change this?

qDslrDashboard only sends the 'capture' command to the camera, the camera will do the capture with the current settings.
Check the camera settings and also the 'Smart remote control' application settings.
