Is it possible either now or in the future to connect wirelessly without the need for TPLink 3040?

So it does, thats fantastic,

Ok all working great with capturing stills, not so good with video.
When I try to capture video using the wireless connection it records 1 second then then disconnects at this point qdslrDashboard freezes.
Am I doing something wrong?

It has been discussed in a different thread. You cannot use wifi while movie recording.
It will work however with MR3040 as it connects to camera via USB.

I have shot video using the TP3040 but was hoping to just use the built in Wifi, oh well
