Downloaded 3.5.3 (qDslrDashboard_V3.5.3_Windows_x64), extracted .zip, tried to run executable; program crashed (qDslrDashboard.exe has stopped working, etc.)

I've attached files from %temp%, in case they help.

What error was display (the etc bit)?

Error message wasn't very specific; see attached screenshot.

I have same problem. I also tried to reinstall vcredist but is already installed on my PC to the version 14.0.23918.

Please extract this debug version into you qDslrDashboard folder: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0BxMZ8X ... sp=sharing
Start with the extracted executable (qDslrDashboard_debug.exe)
On each start it will create a qdd_<date_time>.log file in your Documents folder. Please send the log file to the support email.

Same problem here on an i5 Lenovo laptop on Windows 10 64-bit. Reinstalled the VC files and restarted but still not working for me.

OK, I got qDslrDashboard working in Windows without a crash (so far at least).

However, I'm still having no success getting all functions to work (especially actually taking a photo) with my Nikon 1 V3. See my emails to you with subject line "Ver 3.5.3 crashes in Windows".
