Newest iOS version with Nikon, what the hell?

The newest update made a very, very significant change in the way built in wireless works with my Nikon D750. I use to just take photos and they would transfer in background with qdslrdashboard and my ipad pro , now every time a photo is transfering, the camera turns into "pc" mode and is completely unresponsive while transfering. Why this is hapenning? This totally ruins my wireless tethering workflow as I can no longer shoots when the files are transfering. This is basically useless for portraits sessions.

The image download is the same as was in version V3.5.2.
What you can check is to disable the 'Use Nikon high speed USB transfer' in qDslrDashboard settings.

Glad it helped, actually it is the camera itself that is switching to PC (host mode).
There are some commands where the camera automatically switches to PC (host mode) during the command execution.
