I had a new friend contact me today after he saw my MilkyWay TL of two nights ago on Facebook.
He is video editor by trade, but has limited camera knowledge.. I was asked if I could help with how to shoot night time stuff and ended up having to explain basics of F-stops, shutter speed and ISO.
But he has a LUMIX GH4, with WiFi capability.
All searches mentioning the GH4 or lumix on here seem to bring up threads back from 2015 (ish)
Just wonder if there has been any progress in getting QDSLR working on these ? Ideally via WiFi on a Android device
I am going to do some basic stuff with him in next day or two with regard to single exposure/ manual camera control tonight, but would have been great to demo QDSLR to him in his camera.
I use it with my 5D3 and Pepoermint Linux laptop, but the idea of running on tablet wireless is a big appeal
Thanks
Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH4
Re: Panasonic LUMIX DMC-GH4
Unfortunately not. I don't have any Panasonic Lumix camera for testing.
There is a SDK available at: https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/su ... l/sdk.html
It can be downloaded only if you enter your camera serial number.
In the header you can see for which models are supported by it.
It is only for Windows, so I would need at least one camera from the list for testing and figuring out their protocol (probably they use PTP with some custom commands/properties) so that I could implement into qDslrDashboard.
