A7sii and USB OTG connection

Hi I'm interested in the app but my concern is to use it as a field monitor with my galaxy s4. I've tried wifi in pc version and the liveview is not smooth enough and the quality is poor. The windows version of qdsldashboard didn't discover my camera by usb connection though.
I would buy the app for android but don't want to waste money if it don't work on android neither.
If USB OTG works on android with a7sii is it smooth and good quality liveview? (much better than over the wifi?)
