I am trying to remotely take a picture on my Nikon D750 with the ML-L3 remote, while viewing the cameras liveview on my laptop via qdslrdashboard. The remote does not work while the app is in host mode (lie view enabled)... It does work though in camera mode but this is not helpful as i cannot see my subject on my laptops screen.. tried searching for a solution via the forums search box but it keeps rejecting all my searches for being too common!

In my CAMERA CONTROL – CAMERA PROPERTIES DISPLAY there is no option for Remote control mode.

any help?

In host mode the camera disables all the camera controls and it does not respond to remote release.
This is a camera limitation.
After the live view is enabled the camera automatically switches to host mode.
