Cheapest Android phone qDslrDashboard can run onto?

Hello,
I would like to buy a new Android mobile specifically to use it with qDslrDashboard, I am fond of its functions particularly focus peaking which I use very often.
I'd like a cheap one with good battery life and a removable battery so that I can bring spare batteries with me. If it'd be dual SIM it'd be nice too but not as important.
I had a look around about USB OTG support lists of mobile phones but I am not sure if USB OTG support would guarantee qDslrDashboard functionality and also if possible I'd like some first-hand advice rather than relying on those lists.
