I am still searching and reading up, and I just bought and installed qDslrDashboard, and got it connected. I am (for now) primarily interested in Geotagging my photos. I am going on a trip soon, and want to be able to walk around shooting with the D5200, and have the photos get tagged with GPS location.
Any guides on how?
Can I tag them in the camera?
Do I have to have them transfer to my Android phone, then get tagged on download?
Please help me find the right path to get started.
Also, should I uninstall Nikon WMU? Is there any benefit to keeping it?

With qDslrDashboard you can only tag the images that are downloaded to the controlling device.

OK, so how do I do that? Can that happen automatically as I walk around shooting?

You enable the 'add GPS info to local captured images' in settings and the images that are downloaded from camera should be taged.
