Timelapse. Android phone blocked. Inactivity. Screen off.

Hi,
I am sure this must be somewhere but I can not find it.
Is there anyway to save phone battery turning the screen off while shooting a timelapse?
I have android version 10.
If I leave the phone on it’s own it will block the screen and after a few shoots the timelapse is interrupted.
I tested over Sony A7R2.
