dslrdashboard.info

I have tried to connect to my A7iii using USB on both my Android and Mac devices, and both don't seem to be able to connect.
I take the following steps:
1. Connect the camera (on Android the USB Device window pops up so I select qdslrdashboard)
2. Click the USB button
3. The "Connection Info" window appears
4. The message "Searching for USB Devices" appears
5. Then the "Connecting to USB Camera ILCE-7M3" message appears

Nothing else happens, it doesn't take me to the main window but just sits there. The camera has the "Connecting USB" screen showing.

I've also tried with my A6000 and get the same problem. Am I missing something, or is there something I need to configure on the cameras.
I've turned off the WIFI Remote Computer, and set the USB mode to PC Control (and tried a variety of different)
The camera works on the Mac with the Sony Remote app OK.

Only wireless connection is supported with Sony cameras (mirrorless).
USB connection is only working with Nikon and Canon cameras.

Ah, I thought it was the other way round - it only worked with USB. I've tried with WIFI and it seems to work.
