I am about to purchase a Nikon D5300. Can I configure DSLRdashboard to automatically download videos from my camera to my Windows 7 computer? i.e. as soon as the video is complete, download it to my desktop. Thank you.

If you think of using WiFi to download them - it won't work. Camera turns off WiFi the moment you start recording video and you have manually turn it on again.
If you think of using MR3040 or USB connection - the is no sense of doing it. While camera is connected with USB you cannot start LV on camera, it can be done only from remote device and LV can be seen only on remote device.
Also while downloading video camera would be unresponsive, so you would no be able do do anything, and with WiFi speed of few MB/s it means that it would take at least same time as the video length.
