I have a Google Pixel 2XL with qDslr Dashboard installed. I connect my Nikon D810A with appropriate OTG USB cable.
When I choose the USB connection icon is just says "Searching for USB devices" but never connects. I have tried checking and unchecking Use Android Native USB Access but no combination will connect. Also I cave tried multiple cables to rule out a bad cable.
I notice that the Android System message thinks the cable is connected for charging but I can't change it to "file transfer" or USB tethering" because these options are grayed out.
Any ideas how to get Nikon D810 to connect to Pixel 2 via USB?
Update: For no obvious reason I can now connect the Pixel 2 to the D810A but after trying to run a Timelapse the connection is unstable. After a variable amount of time the camera disconnects from qDslr Dashboard. This happens 5 times in about an hour.
This seems to render the App useless without a stable connection.
Thanks,
Robert
