On the DigiCamControl website, it is recommended, for control over WiFi using packet forwarding, to add the DDServer software on a TP-LINK MR3040.
Has anyone tried this using the TP-LINK MR3020. The latter is around £35, while the suggested router is around £200+.

The MR3040 is the old one that is not manufactured anymore.
The MR3020 will work to but it needs an external power.
You can also achieve the same with a Raspberry Pi Zero W (also needs external power)
