Nikon D750 and qDD/LRT interval (iPad mini)

I have been using qDD for more than a month now, first with a Nikon D700 and TPLink and then last week I upgraded to a D750. qDD has been giving me problems ever since the camera upgrade. No matter what shutterspeed/interval ratio I try the interval of qDD cannot keep up with the camera.

The Jpegs are not too big in my opinion, under 1MB and the interval should be able to keep up with a shutterspeed of 1/125, 3s interval. I tested it on 1/8s and 5s interval and numerous others, all the same no matter what interval I choose.

I did not have this problem with the tp link and D700, so where lies the problem? Is it the D750 wireless?

The program is no use to me if it cannot keep up with a 5s interval.

Anyone else have this problem?
