I have a Nikon D850, and have qdslrDashboard on a Windows 10 laptop and on an Android 10 tablet. I connect the devices by Nikon's built-in wifi. On the laptop< lrTimelapse works in just RAW mode, but on the tablet it requires either JPEG or RAW+JPEG, Why does qdslrDashboard with lrTimelapse not work with just RAW on the Android?

You need to enable it in the qDslrDashboard settings with the 'Allow RAW only in LRTimelapse mode (Nikon)' option
