Hi,
I'm having som issues connecting my good old Nikon D750 to my even older Samsung S8.
When connecting the USB (OTG) nothing really happens. I've tried all sorts of workarounds, but I can't get the app to connect.
I somhow got it working over Wifi, but I'm only really interested in i cabled connection.
I hope someone can help me out.
Cheers!
Hardware/firmware
Nikon D750/1.15
S8/Pie
Also using original Nikon USB with a Samsung OTG adaptor.
Cheers!

Re: Nikon D750 and Samsung S8
Hi,
I figured it out.
Turned out to be a OTG issue on the S8.
Found the following soultion to fix the S8 issue on YT.
1. Enable developer options
2a. In developer options Enable USB debugging
2b. Enable tethering hardware acceleration
2c. Set USB default configuration to Tethering
3. Restart phone
4. Open Files App
I have an otg cable and a USB mouse(or whatever USB device you have). Unplug the usb device from the from the otg cable and
5. Plug the Otg cable in with the Files App open, with the USB device disconnected
6. Plug in the USB device to the otg cable
