Specifically I would like to know if a Canon without mirror, newest models work too.

Hi I can tell you what I use = Canon 5d MK II + Canon 5D MK II I R converted I had a Canon Rebel and that did not work I think it was because it did not have live view I am afraid that I use TP Link 3040 as well although I wanted a spare in case something went wrong with the only one I had they did not have any on eBay so I got one from ebay in the usa and it works fine.I use an iPad Pro connected via wifi and it is a fantastic setup.I hope this helps.
