Tethered Shooting with D750 problem

Hi, I might be missing something. When the photos are transferring I can't take any more shots until its fully uploaded. (unless you shoot in very quick succession) -in which case thats fine until after a second or two after pausing your shooting, the camera displays PC mode and starts transferring. Further shooting is then prevented while the transfer takes place.

What I can't work out is that with a similar piece of software (but only available on Windows) this isn't a problem. It keeps shooting and the transfers continue in the background, much like shooting tethered via USB. I'm a mac user though, so really keen to get this QDD to work.

I shoot proms etc, so it's important I can keep going without delays.

Thanks for any advice. I have trawled the forum, but couldn't see anything on it.

Do you capture with qDD capture button or with the camera capture button?
If an image transfer is started it must be finished before the capture command can be issued.
If you capture with the camera button qDD will transfer the image and you will be able to make another capture while the image is downloaded.

I am using the camera's button to trigger the shots, but it definitely doesn't let me take any further shots while its downloading to the computer.
