. . . on Galaxy tablet 4 7":
can´t get it run via USB tethered - qDSLRDashboard.
I´m using a Nikon-USB3 cable and an OTG adapter USB to micro USB.

When i hit the USB connection-symbol nothing happens at all.
When i activate "use 'root' for USB access" then the USB-connection gets yellow whe ni press it - but blocks the tablet as well as the camera completely.
I need to pull the USB plug for getting it running.

What am i doing wrong?

Using the TP-Link everything works very fine.

So it works as it should work.
Your tablet does not have USB-host.

It´s supposed to have.
Galaxy SM-T210,
Kernel-Vers.: 3.4.5-4081557
Android 4.4.2

Where can i find an information about which devices have USB-host?
The infos i found so far are very confusing . .

qDSLRDashboard via the TP-Link runs perfectly.

Thanks for looking!

Klaus

P.S.: you´re right! No USB-OTG on Tablet 3 and tablet 4 7".
