Timelapse Scheduling

Post by BodenMedia »

I use the timelapse feature allot for long term time lapse shoot running for up to 6 months, Can a schedule be setup so I can control what hours the system should run?

i.e. 08h00 to 17h00 each day.

Hope somebody can advise / help. Thanks so much.

Hello,
I think this is a great idea and could be achieved over the internal timer.

I am very much interested in the transitions from night-day and vice versa. I would also encourage a discussion about the LR algorithm. Even when darkness is at its top the algorithm makes further adjustments which are not needed. One could manually stop the qdd app or we could manually change the reference value (- or +) which is good but I am wondering if we could extend the algorithm to run more "automatic".

In my case the camera is no accessible, its either on a tower or building site sometimes a few hours drive away, A schedule would be a phenomenal feature for timelapse, using a smartphone as the brain / datalink all in one I can connect from my office and have full control over the unit, a schedule would be the cherry on top

Not sure if developers see these posts, any idea how we can suggest these features for future release?

There are no developers, there is only 1 person.
