LRTimeLapse exposure > 30 seconds

Sorry if this has been discussed before.
It would be great (for wide angle lenses) with Milky Way Time-lapse shots to have the option of exposing for more than 30 seconds (the limit in my case on a D800 before bulb mode). In iAstrohub and Cam-Ranger you can specify longer intervals. In particular for Cam-Ranger you can set bulb duration as part of interval shooting. It would be nice if the LRTimeLapse option of idslrdashboard supported automatic exposure that kicked into bulb mode when the 30 second max exposure limit was reached.

I agree with you, this function could be really useful!

I wish that option was possible but I think dashboard requires the manual mode in the camera, I don't think it can switch from manuak to bulb moss via software. I know other devices work directly in bulb mode so the exposure can be from milliseconds to minutes.

Would that be possible with dashboard?

Thanks
