Evolution of Focus bracketing mode

Post by labrele »

Hi

I tested the Bracketing focus mode on, Nikon D800 and D90.

In landscape photography (focal length 24mm aperture F4) the value of 200 for no BF is quite suitable. (I tested 100,200 and 500)
The optimal number of shooting is around 20.
The depth of field in the final photograph is of infinite has 0.45m

Proxi macro-photography (focal length 150mm f5.6 aperture) the value of 50 for the BF is not quite suitable (I tested 10, 20, 50 and 100)
The optimal number of shooting is between 20 and 30
The depth of field in the final photograph is of a 0.22M 0.25m (ratio between 1/1 and 1/2)

Order to provide the step value, you must click on the parameter a number of times and these very long !!!
Can we predict an input field for this parameter Keyboard or have a value as a multiple zone for the interval between shooting.

Similarly, it is necessary to provide a waiting time between shooting
1s for the D90 and 2s for the D800, this is it normal?

Best regards
