Anybody D800 live view function doesn't work?

Hi there,
I wonder no one has experience same problem like I have.
I am using Android Tablet kitkat 4.4.2. / D800 has latest firmware, qDslrDashBoard has latest version.
Shortly, I can control and do everything (AF, change value on iso..etc) via qDslrDashBoard app but live view doesn’t work.
When I press live view button, D800 react (mirror up sound), but still screen is black while I can see control buttons are visible.
Meanwhile, if I press ‘Image Gallery’ button, app shows live view seems working for 000.1 second and stop updating view. (so it updates live view but it seems live view’s screenshot)
Surprisingly, I can change AF focus by touching screen, but I cannot see updated view.
I think somehow updating Live view function has some problem or I may miss something.
I have tried both MR3040 router and directly connect by USB cable. Both works exactly same – all buttons are working remotely, but no Live view update.
I hope someone could give me some advice..
Thanks very very much in advanced.
Best,
Jae from Korea.

Hey, I have the same problem, the idea is awesome! Operating my d800 on a glidecamm 4000 with a steadycam vest is really a porvlem beacuse the idea of changing docus points or even starting or stoping the recording is just imposible wuthout unbalacung the complicate balance required in this kind of systems so having a wireless option y incredible. But, d800 screen turns of as soon as dsldashboard starts showing cameras image in my samsung s5 so, I can not operate the steady cam and at the same time hold the celphone to control de camera, the correct way is asking someone for help contrling the camera and pulling focus meanwhile i control camera movement and image composition, but hey!!! How can i do this with the camera's screen off!!!!!!!! I am shooting blind!!
It is more than neccesary to have the camera display on, but for sone program configurarion the screen turns off as soon as the lv starts working on my celmphone.
I tryed connecting a hdmi field monitor. The hdmi gets disconnected too. As soon as dsldashbiard stops working the hdmi field monitor starts working again.
Then I tried connecting an extra samsubg s5 but dskrdashboard only allows on device conected, i red that the camera can be controled just by one device but habing the chance to mirror thebimage in an other would be a great great feature, specially in cases when the camera display turns off.
Then i tried samsung screen monitoring to replicate the controling celphone's screen in a second device... gues what.... this type of connections works on wifi so unless the mk3040 gets this hability is again... imposible.
Help is really reaaaaaly apreciated here!
With no chance to see what i am filming it is useless to have this awesome software.
Thank you in advance

Same problem, using a steadycam and a 3rd peqrson pulling focus makes me have ablind camera to shoot, not able to use a hdm field monitor (black too) ive been trying to connect a second android sinZe i red in the manual thst many devices can be connecred to the camera at tthe same tinw but its not working, when a new device connects the previous gets disconnected, i managed to perfint this with a bluetooth sender/receiber app from appstore but the lag between the bluetooth connected devuce wuth thw camera is enormous (more than one second) so here I am, with an incrwdible idea like dsldashboard with tie hand because i am not able to see what the camera is recording. Ideas???

qDD has nothing to with turning off your camera LCD in LV.
It is how Nikon works. After you connect camera with USB you cannot use camera LCD for LV. Only remote app can do this.
If you want to use remote app for controlling camera and see LV preview on camera LCD you need to switch to Canon.
And if you want to connect many devices to one camera - cannot be done. Remote controlling is a p2p connection. Try connecting simultaneously one flash drive to 2 or 3 computers...
