I'm very new to DSLRDashboard, and i'm trying to connect this soft (running on a samsung tablet) with my Sony Nex 6.
Sony NEX 6 has wifi buitin, so i supposed the connection will be made through this, but i couldn't make it work ... so, now i was wondering, maybe the way to connect is:

a- using a usb cable between the camera and the tablet (i don't want this, i want use the wifi), OR
b- connecting the tplink router (flashed) to the sony nex, and then through wifi to the table

is that right? as i was saying, since sony nex 6 has wifi builtin i supposed the connection could be made directly from tablet and/to camera.

For Sony cameras only the camera built in wireless connection will work.
You pair your device wireless with the camera wireless.
Start qDD and press the 'Sony wireless' button.

Sony camera will not work with the TP-Link router.

Usually qDslrdashboard plays perfectly with sony mirrorless cameras, i think the keypoint you are missing is to run the "remote control" app on your camera, only then connect your camera's wifi using the tablet, open up qDslrdashboard and hit "connect sony", bingo!
