Hi,
I have a Canon m50 (firmware version1.03) which connects successfully to the app. I can use all the apps, functions, change the camera settings etc, but instead of seeing what the camera is pointing at, the screen on the device is black (the lens cap is off!).
This happens in both wifi and otg usb cable connection and also on my tablet and smartphone. I am thinking it is either a setting I have somewhere in the camera, or the latest camera firmware version has disabled the ability to display third party apps onto tablets/phones (I should add that remote live view displays ok on both devices when connected via Canon's Camera Connect app).
Has anyone encountered this before and is there a workaround?
Many thanks,
mday36

Did you select the LV (live view) function right above the camera (shutter) button?

Also do you have live view enabled on the camera?
