Did you try different modes like auto,manual?

i'm experiencing the same problem with d7200 and mr3040 also...
taking photos are fine but taking videos doesn't work regardless of the mode, M, A, S, P...
after clicking on the record button, the display freezes for about 5-6 sec then it becomes active again...
in other words, the live view 'remaining' countdown timer freezes, eg freezes at 9:05 then jumps to 9:00 and counts down again...the 2 audio bars at the bottom left also freezes...the audio levels fluctuate then freeze then fluctuate again...
so it seems like qdd tried for 5-6 sec but failed...
let me know how can i can collect more debug data...thanks

will the updated but unreleased ddserver in the above thread help the d7200...
seemed to help the d500...
previous changes to qdd (from 3.5.2 to 3.5.3) that helped the d500 had also helped the d7200...

ok that did the trick...upgrading to the unreleased ddserver 0.2-14 (current released version is 0.2-13)
