I upgraded the MR3040 as per the info on qdslrdashboard website,
And now the MR3040 is working perfect.
I am back on WIFi on my Samsun A8 Tablet.

Problem solved. Apparently, with the iPad Mini2 and Canon 5D Mk3 I used to click the icon marked at 1 Now with Samsung Tab A8 and R5, I have to click on icon marked at 2, and this happened by accident. But qDDB works perfect. So I am back on track with Samsung A8 Tab, R5 and the 3040 router. Cheers.

Looks like i solved the problem
it appears the Yellow Focus wire in the cable was the problem,
So i cut off the yellow wire and the qDSLRDashboard ramping of Shutter and ISO are now working perfect.

ordered it, although i already have the 3050 and using it which needed to be flashed, and i could not do it so a friend came over and did it.
But this is totally ready for use. Worth having one.
