5d MarkIII, tp-link 3040, ios ddserver not found

Post by marianog »

Hello

Basically this sums everything 5d MarkIII, tp-link 3040, ios ddserver not found.

I install the update in the tp link, and did the openWrt.
I see and can connect wifi on the iphone and ipad to ddserver, but in the moment I try to connect with the dslrdashboard app it says
DDserver not found, connecting to IP: 192.168.1.1
List connected DSLR at IP:192.168.1.1

I tried almost everything and still saying the same.

Any tip?

Thanks

Is the camera connected to the MR3040 full size USB port without using any adapter?
Do you have another USB cable (a short one) ?

Hello

Yes it's connected with a short usb cord to the Tp Link and no adapters on any side of the cable

Hello

I've seen that I'm not the only one with the same problem, and Nikon users have the same issue.

Did anyone find a solution for us?

Thanks

The problem is that the MR3040 is not recognizing the camera. It can be that the USB cable is to long or poor quality.
So using another cable for testing is a good idea.
You can also try and reflash the MR3040 with the sysupgrade image using the instructions from here: https://dslrdashboard.info/tp-link-mr30 ... e-upgrade/
