Connecting to d3300 with newest version of dlsrdashboard

I have an old version of dslrdashboard on a tablet and an old version of the tp-link firmware (both about a year old) and am able to connect and control the D3300 with no problems.

However, I loaded the latest version on my android phone (paid on Play Store) and attempted to connect to the camera through the dslrdashboard interface but it would not connect. No errors just no connection.

To be clear, I connected to the tp-link via wifi from my phone, then ran dslrdashboard and then clicked the connect icon on the interface and got no feedback at all. The screen stayed that same.

I have a Nexus 6P running android 6.0.1.

Any ideas?

Hi

You have the same problems like me... look at my posts. Older version runs on older android version with D3300 (but with some bugs which depend on version I think).
Which old version do you use without problems? I have tested 30.33 which supports WLan together with the MR3040 and D3300..

My 2nd tablet is Lenovo A10-30 with Android 5.1.1.
Usb Mode works (but in detail I need to check about all functions). Sometimes the app crashed while using LiveView.
Wlan mode doesn't work.
Actual I have tested additional a LG G4 with Android 5.1- same problem. NO WLAN

As you wrote you might have old ddserver on MR3040. Update router.

Update router?? As in the other post mentioned I tried have updated the router with firmware and sysupdate.
Is this a separate update? Where can I check the version please?

Now again..I have flashed all again and also DDserver manual separately. Version is 0.2.13. Nothing changed.
I could not understand this case.
I use one of the tablets you have recommended..the Lenovo A10-30.
And I use the actual app from store.

I see. But on the other side I would pick any available tip I can get...the problem is similar to mine

In which version do you have stable wireless connection?
Which router do you use, v1 or v2?
Last but not least could you post if Gonzos works for you please?
