Hi All,
I have been using DslrDashboard with a TP-Link MR3040 successfully for just over a year. Unfortunately recently my TP-Link bit the dust and will not power on.
Having been in contact with TP-Link customer support, they have informed me that although it is still under warranty, they cannot send me a replacement MR3040 because they are no longer producing that.
What other routers can I use with DslrDashboard? Will any router that accepts OpenWRT work? Alternatively, is there another TP-Link router that will work, as they have agreed to send me one of their products to a similar value.
What would I need to install on an alternative router? I'm guessing DDServer, but all references to DDServer on the website also seem to specifically refer to the MR3040, so I'm a little unclear.
Thanks for any help!

Actually you could use any of the routers that are supported by OpenWrt: https://wiki.openwrt.org/toh/start
Only ddserver need to be compiled for the device (https://github.com/hubaiz/DslrDashboardServer)

Re: Alternative Routers to TPLink MR3040
Thanks for the reply - I'm still a bit lost about how to clone the server repository to the package directory, but I'll have a play when I have a device in front of me.
Just a follow up question - I've purchased the iOS version of DslrDashboard, but I'm guessing if I want to run it on an Android tablet I would have to purchase it again from the Play store?

Unfortunately yes, none of the stores have a gift feature.
