Hi all,
I have a Nikon D7100 that I can connect to my android tablet via the Wu-1a wifi adapter. The connection works fine with alternate apps on my tablet, but for some reason, dslr dashboard opens then just has a black screen.
I tap the wireless nikon connection, I try holding it down and have checked the wifi address is all correct, but it still won't connect to the camera for some reason...
I can't find any info regarding any extra steps I need to take to connect via android tablet, does any one have any ideas please??
I'm not extremely tech savvy when it comes to programming so I'm not sure if I've missed something, but it all seems to be fine with alternate apps so I'm at a loss as to what to do.
Cheers!!

Pair your Android device wireless with the WU-1a
Start qDslrDashboard and press the 'Nikon wireless' button.
Be sure that no other application is accessing the camera, only one application can control it. Also be sure that you quit your background applications that access the camera.

As Hubaiz wrote - kill all apps that can access camera (like Nikon WMU) or better uninstall them because they can run background services that will launch app when connected camera is detected.
