As a new qDslrDashboard user, I am attempting to use custom bracketing from iOS (latest version) controlling a Nikon D750 over Wi-Fi.
Rather than getting evenly-spaced exposures, I get oddball exposures, sometimes including duplicates. For example, setting a nominal exposure of 1/30 sec, 2 exposures under and over, +/-1EV, and "-0+" order, I should get: 1/125, 1/60, 1/30, 1/15, 1/8. I try this twice, with the following results:
Trial 1: actual exposures taken were: 1/250, 1/60, 1/15, 1/30, 1/8 (in that order).
Trial 2: 1/500, 1/125, 1/30, 1/60, 1/15.
Trial 3: 1/60, 1/125, 1/30, 1/8, 1/15.
Trial 4: 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/30, 1/4.
In similar, possibly related, crazy: when I use qDslrDashboard to set the camera's shutter speed, it selects a speed twice that I choose. For example, if I tap on the green shutter speed text at the bottom of the main view and choose "1/30", the green text displays "1/60" as selected (and in fact that's the speed the camera shoots). Note this isn't an issue of clumsy fingers... there's a bunch of other speeds in the menu between 1/30 and 1/60, but whatever speed I choose a speed 2x that is selected.
I've tried a variety of bracketing settings with the same results. The camera is in host mode, set to manual exposure from the qDslrDashboard GUI (and also on the physical mode knob on the camera).
Anyone see such a thing before?
Custom bracketing works incorrectly
Re: Custom bracketing works incorrectly
Checked this but I couldn't reproduce.
Was maybe live view enabled? Maybe in movie mode?
