Stuck on "Capture in process"

Hello - I would like some guidance as to where I may look for what is occurring with my Canon 7D and the qDsler Dashboard V3.5.2.

I am running the program on a Nexus 7 Android version 6.0.1

The camera is connected via OTG cable. I experience multiple crashes with all different scenarios. Eg. Live view to see the subject matter and focus - I get ready to press the shutter button on the app and if reverse back to connecting with camera menu. Pull battery, close app, disconnect cable and restart the process again. Please explain what I may be doing wrong to connect and simply use it as an intervelometer.

Check the qDslrDashboard 'Use Android native USB access' option.
Try enabling/disabling it. You need to do it before you connect the camera.
