Google Pixel XL connecting via USB

Hello All;
I have installed the latest qDslrDashboard to tether to my phone. After many failed attempts to connect to a Nikon D750 via the built in Wireless, I was able to successfully do it. Today I'm trying to use the USB option for faster file transmission but every time I press the USB logo to search for the camera it crashes the application. To assure the connection was working and the setup I went ahead installing another app, which works without any issues. Please advise on how and what I can do.

In qDslrDashboard settings enable the 'Use Android native USB access' option before connecting your camera.

I did, and still no go.

Apologies, disregard my previous reply. I went ahead and enabling the USB settings under the App then resetting all other apps permissions to default. Now it seems to be working as desired, thank you for all the help and oversight of the USB settings ;-(
