Hello,
Status:
Nikon D5 connection to qDD successful and stable.
Problem:
When activating LifeView the value for exposure jumps to 1/30 sec regardless of what the camera was set to before.
The exposure value cannot be set to longer than 1/30 sec.
However the exposure value can be set to any given value shorter than 1/30 sec.
Questions:
How comes? I am puzzled.
Is this a limitation set within the D5 or is it set within qDD?
Feedback and clarification is highly appreciated.
activating LifeView, exposure jumps to 1/30
Re: activating LifeView, exposure jumps to 1/30
double-check the lv switch on the camera is flipped to camera/photo instead of video...
Re: activating LifeView, exposure jumps to 1/30
Thanks for reply.
The LV switch is set to Photo/Camera properly.
When entering LV longest exposure remains to be 1/30 sec.
Exposure Mode is set to M manual.
When in Single shot mode the shutter speed can be adjusted as expected.
So it's still the same, unchanged.
Any other ideas?

Check your camera settings, 1/30 shutter speed in live view would mean you are in video live view mode.
