Connection with TP M3040 Problem

Hi @all
I am fighting with the wireless solution. Wired via usb cable it's fine. But if I wanna use the TP router I don't get establisehd a connection in dslrdashboard.
I got the finalized router which has the openwrt on it outof the box.
But: no "plug'n'play"
I have tested this on diffrent android tablets and a smartphone - all of them with diffrent android version. In my point of view this is not a problem with android.
I can establish the wireless connection but dslrdashboard find no cam. Also I have found here a "solution" in this board which should work. It doesn't for me..
A crazy thing is: in diffrent tutorials on the net they told that the switch (I have the v2 version of this router) on the side has to set to 3g..not to AP. But this doesn't work in my oppinion. I have check this with set to AP. Then I get a connection wireless to the router. But if I set the router to 3g then I lost the connection.
Because of this problems I have changed the software on the router with yours fron your DL area. Same problem.
What can I do??
Thanks.
Regards

After pairing/connecting your device wireless with the MR3040 wireless:
In a web browser open the OpenWrt administration page (
http://192.168.1.1 )
Navigate to System->Software and locate the 'ddserver' package. Do you have it? It should be V0.2-13
Connect your DSLR with USB cable to the full size USB port on the MR3040 and turn it on.
Navigate to Status->System log and at the end you should have something like (ignore the incorrect date/time):
Code: Select all

Have you flashed both files ?? (factory and sys-upgrade)
If no then flash them again, than connect camera and check log.

Hi
I did it as you have mentioned.
I have updated both software - firmware AND systemsoftareupdate
The same problem as before
In which position the switch at the MR3040 has to be set ..
to upgrade firmware - 3g/4g, AP oder WISP?
to use ist with the dslrdahsboard? I found some tutorials where they told one time to set to 3g/3g and one time AP.
Any other ideas? The system log is as before .. no diffrence, no camera, no ardunio kernel ...

I tried flashing again, diffrent ways to start all components.. Are there any other options to check the communication?
Can I change the port from the IP? Does this standardport work with D3300? The crazy thing is with USB is all ok...
But again the question, in which mode has to the router for flashing and then for work? AP? WISP? 3G/4G?

Mode switch does not work with OpenWRT so it can be in any position.
The IP and port are for ddserver. Have nothing to do with camera. If camera works with USB it should work with MR3040. You have to only change defalut IP in qDD (long press on network button) if your MR3040 uses other than 192.168.1.1

Ok. Are therevany other ideas/suggestions? Is the original otg cable from the camera the problem? Are ther other options which I can check that thd firmware / sysupgrade both correct installed? Is it possible to reset the router completely and to start from beginning?
The switch is an intrresting thing.I lost connection if the switch is not in AP mode.
