Raspberry Pi VNC

Hello,

i run qDslrDashboard successfully on the Raspi with the solution from the board. There is an element14 Touchscreen attached to the Pi working fine.
But when i use the HDMI to an external screen and starting the dashboard it is staying black :(
The same issue when i start the pi without touchscreen/external and connecting me with VNC. Every other software is running and displayed fine.

Does anyone using VNC successfully or have an idea whats wrong with my settings?

Thanks
Max

On RPI the EGLFS is used for drawing to UI and I think this will not work with VNC

To use qDD and VNC you need a VNC server that supports OpenGL - like RealVNC.
Commonly used on RPi TinyVNC does not support OpenGL and any app that uses it won't show on client side.

OK thanks a lot - OpenGL is my issue. Does someone knows a free or alternative solution to get qDD on a remote Screen?

Hello klettermax,

Did you find a solution to your problem?

Hi Marz71,

I'm sorry - this needs to be fixed by hubaiz in the SourceCode. Maybe in one of the next versions,
but imho the raspi fraction is to small at the moment.
